Louisiana Sea Grant has had the opportunity to collaborate with Compose on several successful projects. Most recently, in 2020, Compose documented the storm damage that Hurricane Laura caused to the shrimping industry in Cameron Parish, as well as the resources available to start the rebuilding process. When the pandemic hit and seafood vendors experienced an all-time low in demand, Sea Grant and Compose provided a solution, marketing the idea of consumers buying fresh product directly from the industry. One year later, Compose was called on once more to create a Hurricane Laura Recap video, showcasing how grants and other resources enabled the shrimpers to get back out on the water.
